Nol van Schaik’s cannabis garden in Spain 2004.
Part 4 | 29 March / 29 April 2004

Reeferman seedlings, they came up fine.

The start of my garden, in a place where the sun can reach the plants most of the day, we have a lot of shade around our house.

This is a better spot, after the sun changed its cycle a little, I will probably have to move them more often, this summer.

The Reeferman strains were almost ready to transplant.

The sun comes up over the garden, around 11 in the morning, and shines on the plants until sundown.

My brother in arms, UK cannabis hero Colin Davies, came over for a holiday, after he finally had his passport back. He loves Spain as well as me, especially the liberal feel in general. We made a few stops in the Malaga cannabusinesses, like Grow Sur. It was a nice meet, with some very green hearted people. From left to right: Jose Molina, growshop owner and activist, aka: Dr. Oil, Colin Davies, founder of the UK’s first coffeeshop, Tony Moya, editor of cultivamaria.org, Wismy Ruiz, editor of Yerba magazine, and Sergio, manager of Grow Sur.

Tony had some good outdoor, Jose had Northern Lights, we had some Nepal, so we all had a nice afternoon.

Colin helped me to pot the Reeferman strains. He will be back later this year, to see how they grow, I am sure.

Well rooted little plants, I used the fork to get the blocks out of the trays.

Together with these, my garden holds about 23 strains…

This is my complete collection of cannabis genetics.

April 16, the Reeferman seedlings are getting adjusted to their new homes.

Some dry material to study, before slowly destructing the evidence…

The garden is doing well, overall, although the weather is still far from stabile.

The Reeferman strains are developing nicely, a bit compact, due to the windy weather, I guess.

The earlier potted strains were showing some yellow leafs already, I blame it on the water, so I have to get that straightened out fast.

Besides the cannabis plants, we also started a bunch of sunflowers, beans and other vegetables, so we have more to harvest this year.
