Nol van Schaik’s cannabis garden in Spain 2004.
Part 4 | 18-28 March 2004

The seedlings were growing slowly, the weather was a bit unstable, and so I had to move them to the veranda when it rained, or out in the sun in case it was out.

In the meanwhile, we were smoking the last buds from last years garden, this is a bud of Sweet Tooth # 4, the last strain we had left.

It was a great smoke, I had been without grass for some time, and stumbled on this little stash by accident. It made me sit down for a while, with a grin from one ear to another.

On March 23, I received this package in the mail, a present from Reeferman, a Canadian seed producer.

These were the treasures inside, strains I have never seen or smoked, so I was well pleased to have these. I started germinating them right away.

The Reeferman seeds are good germinators, most of them were up in three days.

All the other strains were about ready to be potted, so I went out to pick up the ingredients for a good soil mixture.

All the ingredients I needed were available in a nearby garden centre. I picked up plain soil, perlite, worm shit and a bag of horse dung soil. I use 3 parts of soil, 1 part of perlite, 1 part of worm shit and 1 part of horse manure to get a rich mix.

Potting the seedlings carefully.

Ready to make more roots.

A few of the 25 strains I will try to pull up this year.

The weather became real bad after this nice day, so I had to put the whole circus inside, under tube light. This caused the loss of the strains that just popped out of the soil, the rain lasted over 10 days…

Sinsemilla Guerrilla , doing a Sundance every morning.
