Nol van Schaik’s cannabis garden in Spain 2004.
Part 2 | 11 March 2004

It is so much nicer to get up when you have plants going, although I do not have real plants yet. First thing I do is check the dishes with the seeds, to find out if they are still moist.
Now, I have a follow up already, after checking which seeds are ready to be potted, I walk outside to have a look on my mini greenhouse.

This morning, March 11, three strains had germinated, Taskenti, all of them, half of the White Tusks, and, 9 out of the 10 Old Heads, my own ‘brand’! I potted them carefully.

I started a new rack, which will be full after I have all seeds underground.

Surprise! After we came back from riding Maruska’s horse, I was pleasantly surprised by the upcoming of some of my babies! Blue Crazy and Safiva are already wrestling to the light.

I made sure the plants would not be smothered by the bubble foil, by placing the racks with seeds into some old drawers I found in the basement. This creates two inches (5 cm) of space between the soil and the foil. By the time the plants reach that high, I will have to transplant them to a pot.

I used some bubble foil to place the racks upon, that way the tender roots will not get cold, the racks were on a tile floor.

Blue Crazy, well, this strain is not at all being blue about itself, and it is certainly not crazy, it knows where to get out of the soil.

A Safiva seedling trying to loose its seed shell, it will have done so by tomorrow. The Magic of Marihuana works, as always…

The Haarlem Haze seeds were coming out on March 13, six days after activating them.

My plant bed looked a lot fuller this morning, what a difference a day makes..

Blue Crazy, all six up.

Safiva, all ten up.

Brave Unicorn, all six up.

Obsequio, all three up.

Destroyer, 5 up, the last one potted today.

Mix de Luxe, 4 out, two more to germinate.

Nebula, all five out.

Provo, four out of the soil, two still in hiding.

Taskenti, all six out.

So far, the two ‘found’ strains, Jamaica and Thai, do not give a sign of life yet, like two of my crosses, Sweet Light and Blue Light. All the others have come out, in full or partially.
I still have hope the rest will germinate anyway.
