Dear Hempcity,
i always wanted to know what would happen to me if a dutch policeman would catch me driving my car under the influence of Cannabis. Would they deal it like driving under alcohol?
Since we are planing to come to the dutch coast for camping this summer it is quite interesting if there always has to be one of us to stay sober to get us from the tent to the coffeshop or if we all might enjoy the finest creations of the dutch cannabis handling industry?
greetings. Seb.

I asked the same a week ago in a Coffeeshop.Better that you throw your joint out of the car, so if there is no Joint you will not get into trouble.

Smoking while smoking a joint is forbidden.
The driver should not be smoking while driving, the others can smoke.
So far, the Dutch Police has no legal way to detect cannabis use, unless the driver holds a joint between his lips...
Enjoy...

That means that i can get as high as possible and still drive a car as long as i am not smoking in the car while being checked by the police? Why can't they force you to do a blood, sweat or urin test if you look wasted as they can in Germany?
