so I thought it might be good to open a topic,
to share your experience in dutch coffeeshops..
Be sure to mention the right details so there won't

I think a good example would be my very first coffeeshop Rookies in Amsterdam.I was alone and walked in very intimidated.I sat down and ordered a beer and sat down and sipped it for awhile before getting up the nerve to ask for a menu to see what cannabis products they had.I had not smoked at all in a long time and ordered a pure prerolled Northern Lights.After smoking about half of it I was wasted and feeling ill. I went out and sat at the outside tables to clear my head.After a little while the bartender came out,asked how I was and offered me a free coke to help me feel better.My sickness passed quickly and a great feeling of calm and satisfaction came over me.Watching the people walk by I thought man US policy towards cannabis is bullsh**.A big part of the high was smoking out in the open without fear of jail and the kindness of the coffeeshop man.So although I really feel more at home in Haarlem WW shops rookies will always have a special place in my heart.

Well there's this fantastic and beautiful bar/budtender at Indica that always makes me feel extra special. I would do just about anything for her.

Being treated like someone special has always brought me back to the Willie Wortal shops. In Amsterdam, you can get treated poorly no matter how good your attitude is sometimes. However I will say that the majority of the time I am treated as well as I expect to be. It is only the very local shops that take a while to warm up to I think. I have had some less then great experiences in some other Haarlem shops too. More like no interest then bad treatment really.

san you are number one budtender in the netherlands (well all the places I have visited so far anyway ) and of course with ferry and the other as well

HI! This will be my first trip to Haarlem, I can't wait! I plan on spending most of my trip at the WW shops. In 2004 I had some somewhat bad experiences in coffeeshops in AMS. The Greenhouse Effect(I dont remember which one) ripped me off. I was sold soapbar hash by another shop which I had done a buy and fly, so this time I plan on testing the goods before I leave!! I know I dont have to worry about getting jacked by the WW crew! I plan on buying a couple Ozs of icehasj...my mouth is already watering! Stay high till you die!

ive only had two bad experiences of dutch coffeeshops
both in amsterdam on our first visit.
the dealer in the bulldog(the one between rokerij and the doors)
couldnt be arsed, and wasnt interested in any questions we had about the strains.
and the dealer in popeyes was a total dick.
both shops were busy, but i dont think thats any excuse 'cos james @ barneys is always friendly and chatty even though its one of the busiest coffeshops in amsterdam.
ive never had a bad experience anywhere else in amsterdam or haarlem,leiden,zandam or alphen a/d rijn.

I've been treated like a dumb american a couple times, but after I hang out there for a half hour and they realize I'm not a dumbass, they usually lighten up.

I got snubbed at some rasta coffee shop too. I went in there just to try a different place, and the guy was rude.

Other than that, I felt pretty comfortabel everywhere.

In Amsterdam, I've been treated well in Grey area, Siberie, and although my friend was feeling unwell after squidgy black hash, the bartender gave him a free sugar water drink in Greenhouse. Centraal Coffeeshop has always been a favourite for buy and fly. La Canna (or it's called something very similar - terrible place, overpriced drinks, bouncer on the door, crap weed) was the worst place I've been to.

I've booked over christmas at the B&B so hopefully Harlem will be good too.

don't think i was ever mistreated (unless i was too stupid to notice) in the relatively few CSs i've visited. an occasional busy budtender, but never a rude one.

i know i'm preaching to the choir in this topic, but big ups to all at WW!
on my one visit i found the staff very friendly @ Indica (and Sativa), and much more approachable and willing to share information about their product than the shops in amdam. perhaps it's the crew...

good product, good people

and hell, it beats the crap out of my options in the states! lol

i had never bad experience in holland...

only this year...amsterdam...coffeeshop warda2...

i was in adam to visit delriumt for a weekend...then i was short away with my girlfriend...we was @ cs warda2...an internet coffeeshop...
it was really empty on this morning because it was only 11am or so..
so we went in...and we only wanted to smoke a joint there not more...
so i bought a pre.rolled skunk j.
ok all allright...
then i said i wanna go in...when you come in you see they have security gates like a airport on the gate to the mean coffeeshop...you can buy there and go...or must go trough this gate...
ok i thought i can just go there...done it...PEEP PEEP PEEP....
the girl said waaait...im ok...
and i only stand in the area....the peep goes quiet..but 2sec later it startes again...but i done nothing....and she get after the 4time or so really pissed off!!!
and said waaaaait!!! really she screamed it!!!
then she came...i had to put all out of my pockets...
and then me and my girlfriend came in...
what say me that??
i will only buy&fly in every coffeeshop that i see what have this "security" area...
i have nothing to hide, but...i think you all know what i mean...
maybe they need it in this area of amsterdam...
i dont know...the stuff was good...but the service and all....
baaad...
when you see this shop...make a biiiig curve around it!!!

I think it was definately because of the area dude.

me and craig went back there a few days later and it was the same girl serving.

we went in this time and had to go through the same routine as you.

but because she had started to get used to our faces more we got a nice welcome from her and good service.

I guess it is just a case of not being used to that kind of security in a coffeeshop.

at least though it is guaranteed that anyone else in the coffeeshop at the time isn't carrying any weapons etc. at the time so very safe really.
