Nol's place in Spain

Postby milehigh » Thu Aug 31, 2006 2:08 am

I landed at Malaga Aeroporto about noon a week ago last Tuesday. Jackie and Jake had arrived an hour earlier and together with Nol were waiting for me right outside security. Nol had arranged a rental car for me, and Jackie, Jake, and I were in it and following Nol to his place within minutes of landing. He put a very large joint of love potion in my hand and I lite it right up as I was driving away from the airport. So I was high from then on and never came down till I boarded the flight home. We smoked, Willie Nelson, two diesels, love potion, gonzo, and several different hazes he had in stock. Rezdogs genetics rocked. Jackie also came well prepared with all my favorites including some Amnesia haze. There were at least 4 or 5 varieties of hash to be smoked too. Some of Jackies personal iceolator stash and some different morrocs Nol has sourced locally. Now I know how a king feels. Nol and Maruska treated me way better then I deserved. They have the coolest place. It is a white stucco Spanish ranch style home with several levels. It sits about 50 meters from the stable and in the middle of a large orange orchard. They have lemon trees, lime trees, olive trees, palm trees and many other tree trees. It is a very beautiful place. At night you can see every star in the sky from there. And it is quiet, so quiet you can hear your own heart beat. He has been landscaping, digging, moving, building, and preparing to offer one of the coolest alternatives for a holiday that I can imagine. His plans are just amazing and very exciting. He will have Indian style Tee-pees to camp in soon. He is working on building some bungalow's for those that can't tee-pee. He told me it will not be a problem to rent an apartment near by either if that would be more appealing to someone. Personally, I would want to be on site. At the back of the Stable is a large party room decortated with stuff from the Hemp Museum and even stuff from the original Mellow Yellow(first coffeeshop in Holland) and Positronics. He has one of only three made for Positronics foosball(table soccer) tables. The bathrooms are finished and brand new. Just outside the club house will be a giant bar-b-que for everyone to use and a great chill place for just hanging and smoking. All this sits on over 6 hectors and is completely private. There is a river near by and it sits on a hillside overlooking the village of Alora Spain. The whole area is just beautiful. There are dozens of little villages within driving distance and everyone of them is a feast for the eyes. Around every corner is something neat to see. He is very close to a big canyon National Park place called El Charro. It offers high mountain lake swimming in the cleanest bluest water you can imagine. I think there were 3 lakes total and you could spend days just there. Then there is the coast and miles and miles of perfect beaches and warm blue water. We managed to get to the beach a couple of times, but inland is where it is really at, and the lakes were much more private and secluded. We drove all over the area and got to know it quite well. The food is the best I have eaten anywhere and really cheap. They also have great wine and spirits. Seems everyone likes to mix lemon and wine for a tangy drink there. No one eats dinner till after 9:00 PM and then the party starts. I don't think I slept more then a few hours each night. Did I mention the dogs, chickens, and horses yet? Those dogs were cool and the chickens were funny. The horses are spoiled. Maruska works way harder then she should have to, but I can tell she loves it. The horses will be moving to a new stable that has just been finished and the old stable will become a commons house with showers and toilets for guests as it gets made over. You have to see this place. It is just fantastic.

So I am jet lagged and a little mind numb right now, and I promise to share more as it bubbles back to the surface. I really did have the best time of my life and I can tell you that this has to be a top destination. It is 100 times better then Nol describes, lol. I think he has gotten used to it maybe. I took hundreds of photos and will get to sorting and posting some of them very soon.

THANKS Nol and Maruska for hooking me up big time.

No official date yet, but best guess is tee-pee camping or apartment rental by Spring/07. And maybe bungalows by fall. Don't hold me to this. Most of the heavy work is done, but there is still much to do. Nol's vision is to offer a week or more at a time with activities surrounding cannabis cultivation. If that is not your thing, there is so much more to do that like me, you will wish you booked more time. Stay tuned here for updates. Now that I am involved, I promise to disclose as much as possible as info becomes available.
