Hi Nol...best to Maruska and all family ..The way I think is best ultimately is for anyone to be able to grow what they want and for simple possession to be legal totally. Coffeeshops are great and will always be needed and desired by the public because we are social animals and want to gather together with like minded and spirited people to share experiences. I am in the USA and it is a sad state we are in..instead of looking to the intelligent European model and trying to make some concession to logic and the needs of the people , our ' leaders ' are determined to cracking down on cannabis and consider it in the same category with heroin and LSD...no medical benefit !!!Can you imagine? When Canada , our northern neighbor , is selling medical cannabis officially with the Maple Leaf on the bag , the USA is totally ignoring all medical , scientific , legal and moral arguments and stubbornly insisting on criminalizing peaceful canna-people and destroying their lives. We are far from where we should be and way behind the Europeans. I am convinced that only by making cannabis a civil rights issue will we ever , in the foreseeable future , accomplish getting the word out to the middle class that the facts are on our side. If we have the willingness to expose ourselves and take it to the streets , we will force the issue into the light and make the media print the facts instead of the lies and distortions put out by the liars in Washington. Their position is immoral. When they deny a suffering medical patient the medicine that helps relieve them , then they are criminals and monsters that have no right to pass judgement on anyone much less formulate the policy of a great nation !!! It is an outrage , but because most American tokers are middle class also and work , etc. many are not willing to put it all on the line for canna-freedom. I was thinking the other day about what a great life Nol has...it seems he is living in a wonderful dream world..but then I thought about his 30 years of sacrifice..enduring arrests , scandals, harrasment that we probably cound'nt imagine..marching up countless streets in so many cities..putting his money where his mouth was : spending his own hard earned money for medical patients that needed medi-wiet when no one else would...I am not trying to make Nol a saint , but only by that kind of dedication can we expect to make any progress in the battle for freedom. One day, when cannabis is as common as cotton , we can look back on the suffering of our brothers and sisters over the years and thank the people that stood up to be counted . Will you be one of them? Peace!!!
