well thats good im just glad to hear you werent in jail. Hopefully it will all work out for the best, any publicity is good publicity, and im sure your lawyers are more than competent.
So just umm in theory here, if they were to close the Sativa down for good, would you be allowed to run another shop? maybe like WW Sativa2?
I could be wrong but I think the way it works there is that coffeeshops have to be licensed but there's a fixed number of licenses. When a cs is closed down it looses it's license and the authorities don't issue a replacement license, so we end up with one less cs. The idea is, that this way coffeeshops will be wiped out without any overt government action.
If you don't explore your boundaries how can you ever push your limits.
I am really sorry to here about the new mayor's views.
Haarlem used to have one of the more forward thinking councils back in the day as well allowed more stock limits for the shops etc. but now they have become little puppets for the main goverment and trying to close down our favourite coffeeshops
they are runing our little paradise by doing this and it sucks
hope all turns out well for you nol.

Just got back today. Sinsimella and Sativa have both been raided and shutdown. Its not looking good at all. Indica is still open, hurrah! Spoke to a policeman near sinsimella (he was grinning from ear to ear while he told me, f**cking retarded p**ck) he says sinsimella could be permanently shut and a long ban for sativa for, i quote "too much drugs on the premises" suggested i try elsewhere. Haarlem isn't the same without sativa. Would have stayed @ indica and sampled the few strains they had if the guys told me sinsimella was also shut when i asked for directions to it!!!! 1.5 hour walking trip for f**k all.
Still, you live and learn.
Good luck Nol and the WW Crew and i, along with millions of others, hope all goes well at court today. Your a true icon and i'm sure you'll endeavour to find a way to be back up and running soon.
I´m really sorry to hear that. I was there last week and will be there again next week. I was totaly nervous when I arrived at the Sativa and found it to be closed. A friend from Haarlem told me that there where some big busts...Can´t belive how everything changed..
I really hope for Justice! Wish you guys all the best...
I am truly saddened by this fact, they could close a lot of coffeeshops in amsterdam and I wouldn't care less but closing ones in haarlem bothers me totally.
what the hell is going on in this world ???
hmm maybe next time I am in the netherlands I should act like a typical brit abroad and just get really drunk and start a fight with a random person just for kicks, after all alcohol will still be available everywhere but my choice of where to go for my herbs is getting less and less all the time
good luck with the courtcase and if there is anyway we can help please do not hesitate to ask.
you have my full support.
