“New”Dutch Drugs Policy: No Major upsets…

Friday, September 11th, 2009

Well, the dutch Cabinet, the Ministers Council, will allow coffeeshops to stay open, as usual. The pass system will not be applied in general, only Maastricht will start an experiment, which will surely fail.
Amsterdam’s Mayor, Cohen, does not want to ban tourists, he thinks the status of tourism in A’dam is not causing problems.

Our Goofy looking Justice Minister, Ernst Hirsch-Ball-in states that banning tourists from coffeeshops may be activated some day, but he does not know when, the retard…

So, buying, rolling, bonging, vaping and smoking cannabis will continue as usual in Dutch coffeeshops, except maybe for Maastricht.

A lot of time and money wasted on nothing, again.

Cohen is disappointed that the supply matter was not mentioned, he suggested licensed growers for coffeeshops earlier. The A’dam Mayor will take up this issue with the Justice Department, the City Council and the Police Department. Seems the present Dutch government is not able to make a step forward, maybe because our religious leaders are a tit backward?

Keep on coming, even the Cannabis Cup will survive!!

Feeling at home in the coffeeshop…

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

The last week I have been working on the Indica coffeeshop, it needed some maintenance and a face lift.
So far, I have fixed all broken things, and re-decorated the interior a bit. I want to get the decoration done before returning to Spain for a week, after that I will be back for the last part, painting the shop.

indica011

I re-installed the Verdamper Vaporizer, together with a Volcano they take care of the vape.

indica021

We set up a nice cabinet of bongs and Graviton buckets, for our customers use.

indica03

The place looks nice with a few rays of sun in.

indica04

Mr.Lunk and myself installed a juke box computer, for endless music in the shop, we rigged up Indica yesterday.

indica05

Today we equipped the Sativa with a Juke Box system as well, the dealers have no more worries about stuttering CD’s and such. Great solution.

Now I am smoking a nice joint of Blue Cheese, it has been another hard day’s work….

A lazy day after a high weekend.

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Everybody here slept in today, the weekend was lovely, but we must have pushed the THC level up to new standards. After that we went and collected some pebbles for the garden, followed by another great lunch at Mari’s , just across the valley from our house. All our visitors, and I mean them all, have a gastronomic crush on Mari, the cook and owner of bar El Rancho Grande. I will put some pics of his plates here soon.

5powerkush

These are the 5 Power Kush fems I germinated last week, they are doing fine, after a few days of rainshowers they were ready for some sun.

Smoke-in.

Saturday, April 18th, 2009

Yesterday evening we organised a smoke-in, we have 7 guests, so with a couple af local friends invites it was quite easy to get a small group of eager smokers together.

smoke-in01

We  went for a RooR session first, expensive pieces of glass, but they do smoke like a chimney. I filled the bowl with Cheese and made Paco Maquina go for the first hit.

smoke-in02

My turn next, I am not really a bong person, but on occasions like this I think one has to bong. I did inhale…

smoke-in03

Then came Canjete, he held back a little, but only on the first hit, a fast learner.

smoke-in04

Firing up Adrian’s bowl, he is getting the hang of it, he empties bowls properly.

smoke-in05

Roor and Cheese makes one laugh out loud…

smoke-in061

I did some exhaling too.

smoke-in07

After the bong we went for the Volcano vap, Critical Mass in the chamber, power on and on to filling and emptying baggies. Canjete had problems with the valve as first, but after he knew, he appeared to a good sucker.

smoke-08

Some of the visitors were slightly affected already, but the bags kept on coming.

smoke-in09

Juani is a mechanic, he knows how valves work, he emptied a full bag and seemed to be disappointed it was empty.

smoke-in10

Adrian is a taster, he has a small puff first, before trying to empty the bag. He did not succeed.

smoke-in11

A nice still life, as we call it.

smoke-in12

A picture without using the flasher.

smoke-in13

Adrian looks fried, Maruska is the girl in the bubble.

smoke-in14

No day without an apple, but who says you have to eat them? We went for some vitamins, after bubbling bongs and bags of vapor.

smoke-in16

The apple did something strange to Adrian, it made him cross-eyed!

smoke-in17

For Lulu I made a babana pipe, she is not into apples…

smoke-in18

My friend and colleague Mark likes all kinds of fruit, as long as they have a bowl in it. The evening was a blast, we made sure everybody slept well.

I was refused on my flight…

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

Today’s entry for this blog was supposed to be made in and about the Netherlands, where I would be meeting up with colleagues on the annual members meeting of the Dutch Coffeeshopowners Union. I am still in Spain, however, here is why:

I arrived on Malaga airport in time for my 20.05hrs flight, went to the check-in counter, got my ticket and passed security with a slight beep and a frisk. When the flight started boarding, my name and several others were called over the sound system, so I walked up the the counter lady. She looked at my ticket and nodded at me, so I stepped back into the waiting line. Minutes later my name was called again, so I went back to the counter lady, who then told me six passengers could not board the flight, and I was one of them. The reason for our exclusion was a stewardess who fell ill, so their was one flight attendent less. Therefore, she explained, the plane could only carry 150 people, where 156 had booked flights. Because I was one of the last six people checking in, we were to be excluded. We protested, in Spanish and English, I even cursed in Dutch, but I was told I was booked for next morning’s 10.50 hrs flight. I told it was bad enough not to be allowed on board on the flight I had chosen, but them deciding for me when to fly was to much to comprehend. I told her I wanted my money and my luggage, so I was sent of to another counter. I did not take it to the limit, luckily I smoked a fatty on the way to the airport, because I have already spent a night in the Malaga Airport cell block. To my pleasant surprise, my luggage was already in the Lost and Found, I had to complain about the lost ticket and time at Transavia myself.

I just did that, I have demanded compensation, after explaing the situation. I am a regular customer, now we’ll see how the service is, or is not.

nolatmambobeachclub

So now I am just smoking a joint in Spain, behind the laptop.

We started back on Pebble Road this morning, but there are rainshowers on and off, so we had to cover the part done and leave it for later. Back to cleaning paraphenalia in the clubhouse for now.

Cleaning bongs and vaps.

Friday, April 10th, 2009

Today I took a look into the place I call my office, it looked like a proper mess.

pipeclean01

Things needed to be removed from this dungeon to make it look like an office again.

pipeclean02

These bong and such were really covered in dust, so I changed my target to cleaning the pipes first.

pipeclean03

These are the parts of the various pipes and vaps I had to clean, now put them to gethere again.

pipeclean04

They are all ready for use again, for all kinds of smokers and tokers.

pipeclean05

From left to right: A Breeder Steve lamp, he left it in my place, a Hurricane bong, A RooR Gold Edition bong, a Volcano, a Vapor Tech vaporizer, a Verdamper Vaporizer and a RooR Mushroom Bong and a Plasma Light, light up!

About feminised seeds and spanish ham.

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

Today I went on a roadtrip with my colleague Mark, he owns the Far Out coffeeshop and the Cheech&Chong bar/restaurant in Dedemsvaart, Holland. He loves the Spanish kitchen, so he is determined to have a spanish style menu in the C&C. For that, we went for a special place to buy the finest cured ham availlable in the area. Adrian wrote us a little map, so off we went, to Ronda, to find “El Cerdito Andaluz”, the place to go for fine hams. It was a beutiful ride of about an hour, would have loved to show you pics, but Mark did not bring a USB cable, you might find pics and vids later on www.cheechandchong.nl I did take a picture of Mark posing with his fine cured hams.

markhammen

I am sure his customers are going to be pleased with these, Mark took a ham previously, which was well received. Here you see one Pata Negra, the ham with the black hoof, and two Jamon Reserva. The Black hoof ham is very exclusive, so very expensive, about 30 euros per kilo. worth every eurocent though, Jamon de Pata Negra is The Ham amongst hams.

Mark wants to try some Spanish Genetics in Holland, so he went to the “El punto eres tu’ growshop in Malaga to get some seeds. Spain is he country that is switching almost completely to feminised seeds, for many reasons, especially for guerilla growing, no risk of a male popping up during a long absence is one of them.                                                      Mark decided to go for Critical 47, from the revived Positronics seed bank, the winner of the 2008 Malaga Bella Flor Cup. Great bud, tasty, dense buds and a very nice mellow high. He also purchased some Power Kush and california Hash Plant from Dinafem seedbank. He gave me one seed of each, so I can try them outdoors.

Let’s see what Spanish femseeds will bring us, I will keep you informed…

Testing Ice Hash

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

My colleague Mark from coffeeshop Far Out gave me some of the Ice Hash he is going to enter in the next Highlife Cup In Holland. He asked us if we wanted to try, we did…

icetest1

The hash was soft and plyable, mark told me they had been pressing it manually over and over again.

icetest2

The hash was extracted fromSanta Maria budleafs, a south american indica.

icetset3

Sticky as gum, hard to pull apart, it looks great, let’s try a few tokes.

icetest4

Adrian and me both had a few bowls, it was a tasty and blasting experience, we were hit by a clear high with some blurry side effects.

icetest5

Adrian is one of the club members, he will be our first eployee once we go official. He can hold his smoke, we agreed the hash was smooth, tasty and gave us a good high. We needed to go for a small snack after the session. Definately a contender, let’s see how it does in the Highlife Cup.
